Haunted In My Sleep

This story is pretty short. When I was about four, I lived in a small house in Kenniwick, Washington with my mom, brother and a family of drug addicts that are friends with my dad who is a trucker.

I don’t remember how long this had been going on but my mom said it was about three weeks. Every night when I went to sleep I kept waking up for some reason.

About the second week I woke up in the morning and told my mom to tell her friends to keep waking me up. My mom then told me that every night for two weeks she had witnessed a tall black haired lady in white walk from my room to the bathroom, and every time my mom went to look she was gone.

At the third week my mom got tired of me telling her to tell her friends to stop. She called my aunt (whom lived 500 miles away) and told her. After that it stopped happening.

We then moved to a small town of Rosalia. The first six years I felt no presence here.  Then my grandma had a stroke and she had to live with us.

The day before Halloween my grandma died. Now as I sit here typing this story I feel sad I don’t know why. I feel watched, but no one is there. I haven’t slept in my room for a month as my room is where my grandma died.

I have also experienced supernatural incidents since 2006. I dont know what to call them- ghosts, ets, demons, arch angels, fallen angels. I have a mixture going on here in NC. My main issue is feeling like I have been beat up in my sleep with no physical marks. I feel so tired all the time like something is draining my life energy. I have to work, and it’s hard to get through the day. Salt, Sage, Prayer, all that I do know to ward of evil is not working. I can even see these beings sometimes and then they disappear. I am sort of a medium and telepathic and this makes issues worse. Any suggestions? Amy in NC

What if we fail to expel our demons simply because we have the wrong worldview? I mean, what if the bible is true and demons truly are God’s rebel angels? That would mean that being a medium is actually something the devil would want, something that would empower them, because it is circumventing the plan of God in order to create our own spirituality, apart from the holiness, and the sovereignty of our Creator – just like Satan wants us to. The only way I was able to overcome my many demonic encounters was through the name of Jesus. This is ironic because I once was the most vehement and arrogant atheist I ever met!

But there’s no way to persuade a person. It has to be a supernatural encounter between them and God. They have to be chosen. It takes humility, and often only comes through very painful brokenness. The stories I have collected over the years of those who once were plagued by demons, but were set free and empowered by the name and faith of Jesus, are countless. I used to be very active in Asian, metaphysical, chariot of the gods, new age living. But that didn’t make me happy or give me the answers I sought. In fact, it led to suicide. Thank God I now have an understanding of the spiritual realm that accounts for everything I didn’t know then. I’m one of those hyper-spiritual souls too. From childhood we are targets for evil spirits just looking for someone to harass and possess. I pray the truth finds you.

Got something to say?
